Nearly 100 children and young adults from the Bedouin community lost a parent on October 7th. Because this population has unique characteristics and needs, we developed a specialized professional support system aimed at providing a respectful response to the cultural, communal, and social needs of the Bedouin community in the south.
The tailored, culturally sensitive support framework is reflected in the following ways:
Culturally Rooted Accompaniment: The support team consists of professionals from the Bedouin community.
Exercise Rights & Grants: Family support that respects traditional norms while holistically addressing the child’s family system, the parent’s needs, and key figures in the child’s life.
Customized Support & Mentoring: The team offers proactive assistance in exercising rights, bridging language barriers, digital literacy, and geographical accessibility.
